Hardening淬火
预热 Preheat: 1100/1250F, equalize, 1400/1450F, equalize.
临界温度High Heat: 1900/2000F,保持30-60分钟 hold 30/60 minutes at temperature.
Quench淬火介质: Air空气, positive pressure vacuum正压(这里不好理解), interrupted oil(不流通的油?). Cool to 150F.冷却到150F
回火Temper: 400-800F,按照一英寸厚度一小时的原则,最小不可小于2小时 hold 1 hour/inch of thickness, 2 hours minimum.
避免800-1100度回火Tempering between 800 and 1100F should be avoided, due to a decrease in both toughness and corrosion resistance.
深冷处理Cryogenic Treatments: 深冷处理可以增强硬度,增加残余奥氏体的稳定性Refrigeration treatments can increase hardness and may improve long term dimensional stability by transforming retained austenite. Refrigeration treatments should generally be performed after the first temper, and must be followed by a temper.深冷以前,应该先作一次回火,深冷后立即再回火一次。

Surface Treatments表面处理
渗氮增加耐腐蚀能力Nitriding decreases the corrosion resistance of stainless steels, and is not generally recommended for this grade强烈推荐. Because of the limitations of tempering between 800 and 1100F, surface treatments for 154 CM should be limited to those compatible with tempering temperatures under 800F. 但是要注意不能超过800F。
Annealing 退火
A.加热到1650 Heat to 1650F, 保持6小时hold six hours, 每小时25度的速度缓慢冷却到1200cool slowly (25F/hour maximum) to 1200F, 然后风冷then air cool.

方法2,B. 加热到1600 Heat to 1600F, 保持2小时hold two hours,冷却到1300度 cool to 1300F,保持4小时 hold 4 hours,然后风冷 then air cool.
退火硬度 Typical annealed hardness: 235 BHN.
Stress Relieving
Annealed Material: Heat to 1200/1250F, hold two hours, cool in still air.
Hardened Material: Heat to 25F below original tempering temperature, hold two hours, cool in still air.
Welding 焊接
Use type 440C or 420 filler material. 440或者420
Annealed Material: Preheat to 600/800F. Maintain above 600F during welding. Reanneal or temper 1300F 4 hours.
Hardened Material: Preheat to 25F below original tempering temperature (400F minimum). Maintain above 400F during welding. Cool to 150F after welding. Temper 25F below original tempering temperature (400F) minimum.
