飞刀志——格洛克飞刀
原作者：Ulrich Höfer 译者：Gunsheep 带背齿的格洛克FM81（FM78没有背齿）真是把万用刀。这把奥地利军队的战斗刀非常适合刻、切、挖、砍、撬、开罐头，甚至能替代砍刀。而且它还能飞！对我来说这是最有趣的一点。事实上，我能随时把我这把日用刀飞到目标上，毫不担心会损坏它。
通常我握刀柄。我会使用一种类似握榔头的握法，只握着圆形刀柄的末端，让刀柄刚好抵在手心。握法是：投掷手摊平，手掌向上。另一只手拿着格洛克刀的刀刃，把柄端垂直放在投掷手的手心。刀放平，让它位于食指和拇指中间，握紧投掷手。
我的投掷距离是半圈2.4米，整圈3.3米，两圈5.3米。（译注：使用俄式半圈投法应该能更远，但要用FM78。）
在半圈距离上，也可以执刀刃投掷。这时，我会把刀刃夹在拇指和食指之间。小心，这可是真家伙。你很可能会被锯齿或者利刃咬一口！
我用格洛克刀干了十多年的粗活，八年以来，我时常飞它。这么多年，只悲脆了一次。格洛克刀只卖30欧元，再买把也不太心疼。
此刀全长29cm，刃长16cm，重200克。刀身由抗锈高碳钢制作，洛氏硬度56-58。
唯一的缺点是：刀身不是完全防锈的。因此，在雨雪天使用后，我会把刀擦干，再涂上薄薄的一层枪油。
Glock Throwing Knife
The Glock FM 81 with saw-back (FM 78without) really is a multi-purpose knife. The field knife of the Austrian armyis well suited to carve, cut, dig, chop, break, open cans and can even work asmachete replacement. And it can be thrown! This is the most interesting aspectfor me, I can actually throw my daily cutting tool into a target any time Iwant, without it taking offense.
Glock throwing knife
Normally, I grip the knife at the handle.For this, I use a variant of the so-called hammer grip, only gripping it at theend of the rounded handle which fits well into the palm. To achieve this grip:Hold the throwing hand flat, palm up. Now grip the blade of the Glock knifewith the other hand and put the end of the handle down vertically into themiddle of your palm. Now tilt the knife into a horizontal position, betweenindex finger and thumb, and close your hand.
My distances to the target are 2.4m for ahalf turn, 3.3m for a full and 5.3m for two turns. You can also grip the knife at the blade,for those half-turn distances. For this, I clamp the blade between thumb andindex finger. Just be careful, this is a real knife and you might well cut youat the saw back or sharp blade!
For more than ten years know, I have beenusing the Glock knife for my daily chores, and for eight years, I have beenthrowing it on a regular basis. In all this time, I only once had a brokenblade. With a store price of 30 Euros (2006), such a loss can be replacedwithout much pain.
The knife has a total length of 29cm(blade: 16cm) and a weight of 200g. The blade is made from slow rusting carbonsteel with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58.
Its only weak point: The blade is notstainless. Therefore, I dry the knife after having been out in the rain orsnow, and cover it with a thin layer of Ballistol oil.
